Hanoi Vietnam | chill vlog of us walking around

Join Nomadic Writers on a Hanoi tour of the temples & streets

I loved so much of Vietnam, expressly I have the deepest bond with Dalat. But another awesome place was Hanoi which we visited nearly under a year ago now! Time really does fly past. Join Jac and Tom as they walk around taking in the sights, and wrapping up in the cold of Northern Vietnam: Hanoi.

I hope you enjoy taking a chilled walk with us through Hanoi with us, my favourite part of the city were the winding streets. (And the incredible side street Bun Cha we ate once where half way through eating we had to get up as a car came through, having to move all the tables out of the way)

It felt like many of the narrow streets in Hanoi were a beautiful insight into people’s everyday lives there — I didn’t film pointing inside the buildings as when you walk past you can see families gathering, friends chatting, and older aunts and uncles watching TV — I didn’t want to poke a camera in their relaxing time.

But hopefully I still captured a slice of Vietnamese life without being too intrusive. You’ll get to see prayers during the holiday season in Vietnam Tết Nguyên Đán. I also explored a beautiful temple with lovely paintings of the Buddha. Leave a like if you like these kinds of videos and let me know your thoughts!
